The fourth play of the Arctic Cycle, Requiem for a Glacier is a collaboration with composer Matthew Burtner and director Katie Pearl. An interactive piece with a live soundscape and a choir, Requiem for a Glacier invites attendees to honor a glacier in Iceland that was declared dead from climate change at the age of 700.  Conceived as a theatrical ritual, it travels between deep time, mythological time, and today, and builds on the idea of glaciers as sentient beings.

The Arctic Cycle is a series of eight plays that look at the social and environmental changes taking place in the eight Arctic states.
